The herbal tea products include red ginger, red ginger plus turmeric, and soursop leaf tea. The majority of specialty teas and herbal teas that are promoted are organic and also have internationally recognized certificates.
Indonesian tea products have the potential to take advantage of the momentum of the US-China trade war. Head of ITPC Los Angeles, Antonius Budiman stated, "The momentum provides greater opportunities for tea producers throughout the world, including Indonesia, because Chinese green tea and black tea with packages under 3 kg will most likely be subject to a 25% tariff".
