Indonesia participated for the third time in a row in The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show 2020, the biggest annual music events in the United States which takes place on January 16-19, 2020 at the Anaheim Convention Center, California.
The NAMM Show 2020 was attended by more than 116.000 visitors consisting musicians, buyers, and distributors from music industries and 7.000 brands from 129 country all over the world.
ITPC Los Angeles promotes variety of musical intruments and accessories from four companies, namely Sjuman Instruments, Dr. Case, Stranough Guitar Technology and Genta Guitar, and manage to achieve a potensial transaction around USD 1,4 million.
Indonesia is the third biggest musical instrument supplier to America after China and Mexico with a 3% market share or around USD 170 million. Furthermore, the potential product export value for musical intrumental from Indonesia to America, especially guitar, from January to November 2019 increase 16% from the year before, from USD 15,5 million to USD 18 million. Therefore, the potential for Indonesia musical intrumental industries in the global market is more promising now and can grow even more in the following years.
