Indonesia Makes a Comeback at Las Vegas Market 2015

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 8, 2014) – Indonesia is making a comeback at the Las Vegas Market 2015 with 15 selected and best companies to exhibit at the show. Focusing on eco-friendly wood, creative designs – with rustic, shabby-chic and modern finish - and high quality products, Indonesia Pavilion consists of rattan, teak, mahogany and recycled wood furniture as well as home decorations. Variety of wood, high quality products and skillful craftsmanship are what Indonesia is well-known for in the furniture industry world-wide – the characteristics alike will be brought upon the Indonesia Pavilion at LVM 2015.

Indonesia Pavilion at LVM 2015 will be located on Building B #220-03. The pavilion is a collaboration between Indonesian furniture associations (AMKRI & ASMINDO), Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry of Indonesia, with the same mission; to boost Indonesia’s furniture export to the U.S. “The furniture industry and furniture export are important for Indonesia’s economy. I encourage the industry and government to work together to achieve the national goal of US$ 5 billion of furniture exports within the next four years.” said Indonesia’s President Mr. Joko Widodo.

Indeed this effort is what the associations and government are forcing ahead together – producing high quality products from eco-friendly wood and skillful craftsmanship with a competitive price. Perfect combination of what the American market is looking for. Environmental-friendly Pavilion is what Indonesia Pavilion is all about, with companies sourcing wood from recycled wood (naturally fallen trees, old wooden warehouse or abandoned rail tracks).
